E.A. "Mac" McCune III - President

Mac is from Sugar Land, TX and currently resides in Richmond, TX, about 10 miles SW of Houston. He received his Bachelor of Science in Fish and Wildlife Biology from Sam Houston State University. In 1980, he formally started Lake Management Services. In addition to office staff, LMS,LP employes 6 full-time biologists and more than 25 full-time field technicians. Within the urban sector, Mac performs consulting work for many land developers, civil engineers, landscape architects, land planners, hydrologists, and home owner associations. He has also performed consulting work for the U.S. fish and Wildlife Service, and the Departemente de Pesca y Ecologia (Fish and Wildlife Dept) of Mexico in Mexico City, as well as the private sector throughout the U.S.

Mac is past president of the American Fisheries Society (Texas Chapter) and is a member of the American Institute of Fishery Research Biologists, and the Aquatic Plant Management Society. He has authored and co-authored scientific research papers and has performed extensive work and research in the urban lake design, aquatic plant control, water quality control, and fisheries management. He is recognized across the U.S. as one of the most knowledgeable and experienced urban aquatic biologists in the country.

Gary P. Matocha, MBA - CFO

Gary joined the LMS team in July, 2006. He has over 29 years of Corporate sales & business management, particularly in the areas of Strategic Planning, Business Process Re-engineering, Multi-generational Product Development, New Product Introduction, Six Sigma Quality Improvement, and Sales & Marketing Management. Gary received his undergraduate degree (Accounting) from the University of Texas at Austin, and his Masters in Business Administration from Houston Baptist University.

He is a member of Sigma Beta Delta (National Honor Society for Business Management)and Alpha Sigma Lambda (Graduate Business School Honor Society). Before coming to LMS, Gary worked for companies of various sizes, including GE, where he was responsible for over $200 million in annual sales.

Gary is a supporting member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Association, a life member of B.A.S.S., the Like Father Like Son national fishing circuit, as well as a life member in the American Quarter Horse Association.

Christopher Meyer - V.P. - Operations

After attending Texas A&M where he concentrated his studies in the areas of Marine Biology and Fisheries, Cris has been Mac's "right-hand man" since 1995.

For over 12 years, he has worked this business from the ground up, and has been instrumental in the training of new employees. Cris is responsible for work schedules and quality control of all field work, including customer contacts. Cris is one of the premier fountain service technicians in the U.S., and has been touted by manufacturers (such as Otterbine, AquaMaster, and Kasco) as one of the most knowledgeable in the country.

Cris is a SeaPRO Preferred Applicator, an award given to select applicators who demonstrate vast knowledge and successful long-term epxerience in aquatic weed control.
